第２０回目はDETECTING DRUN DRIVERS(飲酒運転防止装置を開発)についてのニュースです。(９月７日放送)
A lamp turns red and message alerts the driver that the test detected alcohol.Then the device shuts down the engine.
ランプは赤色になり運転者にアルコールが検出されたと警告を出します。そして装置がエンジンを止めます。
A digital camera in the device compares the face of the driver with the one in its memory so that a sober person can’t take the place of a drunk one to start the ignition.
装置にはデジタルカメラがついていて運転者の顔と装置に記憶されている顔を比較するのでお酒を飲んでいない人が酔っている人の代わりになってエンジンをかけることができないのです。
